Bilbo brand was released to market in 1992.
In 2009 the production division of ZEDNÍČEK Concern which deals with trade and production of cooled foodstuff came into existence by consolidation of companies ZOP a.s. (existing as EUROEX spol. s.r.o., and KAPKO TRADE s.r.o.until Nov30th 2010) and CHOVANEČEK a.s.
Middle-sized production plant which produces smoked products and is run in Most by Z.O.P. a.s. (existing as EUROEX spol. s.r.o. until Nov30th 2010) was newly built in 1997. At that time it belonged to the most modern plants in Europe.
In early 2010 our second production plant in Mlékojedy at Litoměřice was fully put into operation. It is being run by company CHOVANEČEK a.s.
Both production plants are HACCP, IFS and ISO 9001 certified.
The pivotal programme of both specialized plants (both in Most and in Mlékojedy) is the PRODUCTION OF TRADITIONAL SMOKED PRODUCTS, especially sausages, bratwursts, hams, pâtés, pâté "čajovka" and specialities.We give special importance to developing new products in which we project the latest healthy lifestyle trends. Self-made products are released to market under the brand of BILBO.
Our goal is to make products and specialities, which match the slogan of the BILBO brand – „Some like it lean...“ – and which provide added value – increased ratio of meat and creativity both in taste and packaging.
The commitment of our production plants is also safety and stable quality of goods.
ZEDNÍČEK Concern, the supplier of branded smoked products and delicacies from all over Europe, producer of traditional smoked products. We give special importance to innovation and developing new products, in which we project latest healthy lifestyle trends. We produce these under the brand Bilbo.
